Hello book lovers!
Well, my event at St. Columbanus was a success. I was able to share my novel with many people on that day. They were very warm and welcoming. I also have a potential speaking engagement resulting from this signing. Isn't that great!?!?

I'm amazed at how God continues to move on my behalf. I'm at a place I have always wanted to be, but never thought would come to fruition. Does anybody out there know just how good God is? I do.

Due to a scheduling conflict, SASSY: The Stage Play has been pushed back further into 2009. But, that's okay. It's still coming and it's all in divine order. I believe that.

Reviews are rolling in and my presence on the internet is massive so I am pleased with that. I'm still trying to come up with creative ways to market myself and I have many avenues I can take. It's fun for me.

I am so saddened with all of the AA-owned bookstores that are closing or have already been closed? What does this mean? Black folks don't read? I don't believe that. With all of the book clubs that I've come into contact with, I'm certain we read. And there are many more who don't belong to book clubs. I think this is an indication of the financial crisis that we're facing in the United States right now. If people can't afford to pay their bills or buy medication, they certainly aren't buying books. How unfortunate for both the reader and the author.

Thank you for your support, book lovers! I'll write to you soon.
